Your trip of 10 days in Vietnam begins with your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. After your private driver meets and greets you at the airport, you will be escorted to the hotel by private transportation. Check in to the hotel and get over the jet lag.
You can mooch through the streets of the city. Historic charm, architectural marvels, and product variety are splashed all over this area.
After enjoying the first day yourself and return to the hotel for a relaxing sleep.
(start 7:20 am – return around 17:30 )
7:20 am Pick up from the hotel.
Firstly, kick start your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows, depart for My Tho, the town that lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Next, board the sampan and cruise down the river around four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands.
After Stopping over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and folk song music performed by the local people, you then visit the fruit plantation.
Ride a hand-rowed sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside. In addition, visit the family workshop and honey-bee farm, and enjoy honey tea and coconut candies.
At lunchtime, have lunch at a local restaurant. Break time.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, and meeting the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoying the cool breeze for those who can’t join the cycling trip.
Have breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the airport for a flight to Hoi An via Da Nang International Airport.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Today your English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to a tour of the countryside and rivers around Hoi An. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. After that, you will board the Hoi An Eco-tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen. Enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also take a paddleboat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise. In the afternoon, leisure time on your own exploring the ancient town or relaxing at the hotel.
Today you will have free time to explore Hoi An at your own pace, seeing what interests you. This ancient town is full of Japanese merchant houses and pagodas, temples, and antique warehouses. Or just lounge about in a laid-back riverside café on the bank of the Thu Bon River.
Morning: Have to breakfast and get ready for your next trip to Hue. After a while, our bus will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel. Then, take a bus to Hue.
Afternoon: After arriving in Hue, check-in at the hotel. Next, you are free to visit around the city. For example, you can go sightseeing at Thuan An Beach, Lang Co Beach, Garden House, etc., or take some photos.
Overnight in Hue.
Have breakfast at the hotel, and have a free leisure time until there will be a private cab to transfer you to the airport for the next flight to Hanoi.
In the morning, check out from the hotel and get pick-up by the Cruise around 7:30. Take the most scenic route to Halong Bay across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies. On arrival to Halong, you will take a cruise on the bay to explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can also attend the activities taking part on the boat.
Overnight on cruise.
Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. Then, the boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, you would sail back to the main harbor and then return to Hanoi around 17:00. Free in your leisure time.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Relish a healthy breakfast on the final day of your 10 days in Vietnam. Complete the hotel check-out formalities after which you can visit the local markets and buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Later, proceed for departure and board your flight back home.
Trip Ends.
Absolutely loved all the places we visited.Would have liked a little more time at certain spots as it felt a little rushed at times. Expected to have a group that we would travel the whole tour with. It was quite unorganised, as we were told certain pick up times & it was wrong a number of times. Also details that we would be spending a whole day cycling through village & rice fields which turned out one of us had to miss out on because they werent physically able to ride, especially given the hectic environment of Vietnam traffic.Expected a tour guide to take us through the entire tour, but this changed daily & if I hadnt checked my email i would not have even known when & where we would be going each day. So overall disappointed in the organisation of what could be an exceptional tour.
We took this trip at the beginning of March, we had concerns about the pandemic but the situation in Vietnam was under control. Unfortunately just after we arrived there were cases appearing in Vietnam. And I am just amazed how Vietnam Tour Fun has handled it. Before the trip, even when there were no cases in Vietnam, our consultant David has sent the safety recommendations and the link on their website with all the updates about situation. The guides were giving us masks for the tours, hotel in each city had hand sanitizers. It looks like the entire country was well prepared. I am writing this comment several month later after the trip and it is obvious now that the country is managing the pandemic very well. Unfortunately for us our trip to Halong Bay has been cancelled due to safety measures and our program has been replaced by day trips to Ninh Binh and Mai Chau. We really enjoyed the boat trip through the caves and had lovely time in the mountains. We will come back her again for sure, I still want to see Halog Bay and explore more about mountain regions in Vietnam. I want to thank Vietnam Tour Fun for taking so much care about us and trying their best in managing our trip in such conditions. I wish you all the best and go through this difficult time. Hopefully we could be in touch soon for planning the new trips!
Most of the services, tours and accommodations were awesome as my friends recommended before our arrival. But we had to wait for flight delay due to bad weather. I felt thankful for all your words to comfort and truly care for our feeling when pumping into this inconvenience. You don’t act like a broker who just is a third party to buy and sell products and gain commission but well take care your travellers. Cannot recommend higher!
