Day 1Welcome To Vietnam - Hanoi Arrival

Upon arrival at Vietnam’s Airport, our driver will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi. The rest of your day is at leisure for independent exploration – just catch a sight of the city or explore the maze of streets in the city’s fascinating center where you are certain to find something unique to buy.

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour – Night Train To Sapa (B/L)

The pick-up starts from 7.30 am to 8 am.

The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, oriental pagodas, and temples dating back thousand years ago.

This full-day tour takes you around Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby, and the Old Quarter also known as the 36 streets and guilds. Also on the tour – the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers street Thanh Nien, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple, and one of the city’s museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. The next place in Vietnam holiday is Sapa, pick-up at the hotel and transfer to the train station for a night train to Sapa. (schedule 21:50 – 06:30).

Please note that the HCM Mausoleum is closed on Fridays and Mondays and most museums are closed on Mondays.

Day 3Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/L/D)

Pick up at Lao Cai station transfer to Sapa for breakfast and check-in hotel (if available) 12 km of trekking, visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’ mong minority. after lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or a drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay overnight with a local family. Here you have the opportunity to experience their daily life, work, and original custom.

Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa – Hanoi (B/L)

Breakfast before starting the holiday in the North of Vietnam with an 08 km walking to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the Hmong (Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through the bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the Car to return to Sapa by bus. Free at your leisure until 17:00.
Overnight at the A/C soft sleeper cabin to Hanoi (schedule: 21:00 – 05:00)

Day 5Hanoi – Halong Bay- Overnight On Cruise (B/L/D)

*After arriving in Hanoi, you will be escorted to the hotel for freshening up and the guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby for the tour*

In the morning, check out from the hotel and get pick-up by the Cruise. The memorable holiday in Halong Bay – natural wonders in Vietnam. 

The pick-up time will start from 7.30 am to 8 am. Take a route most scenic to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Ha Long, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.

After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long Bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.

Day 6Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)

Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and the return to Hanoi around 17:00.

Day 7Hoa Lu - Tam Coc Tour (B/L) - Group Tour, Sharing Bus – Flight To Hue

Today you will experience the ancient culture and history of Vietnam as well as see the stunning landscape and beautiful scenery when we travel to the Ninh Binh Province. This area is known as “Ha Long Bay on land” and is located 80 km South of Hanoi.

We will go for a relaxing sampan ride through the gentle and elegant landscape of plains and mountains, leading to the beautiful and mysterious Tam Coc Grottoes followed by a gentle cycle ride (4km) and boat ride to Bich Dong Cave and Pagoda. This journey takes you through the breathtaking scenery of rice fields and imposing mountains. We have lunch in a local restaurant. Then head off to Hoa Lu, formally the capital of the Dinh and early Le dynasties between the 10th and 11thcenturies.

We will then head back to Ha Noi later in the evening.

You will be transferred to the airport. Take a flight to Hue.

Day 8Step Back In Time At The Imperial City Of Hue (B/L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.  Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and you will start your Hue exploration.

Start your trip by exploring Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen Dynasty, which was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. There you will visit The Royal Antiques Museum, one of the first museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal antiques are displayed here: bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires, and personal belongings of the Emperor family of the Nguyen Dynasty. Then continue to Dong Ba market – the best place for cultural gifts and souvenirs.

Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Emperor’s Tombs such as Emperor Khai Dinh’s (1885-1925) Tomb, famous for its beauty and unique architecture style, and Emperor Minh Mang’s (1791-1841) Tomb. On the way back to Hue you will have a stopover at the Conical Hat village to see how famous Vietnamese traditional hats Non-La are produced, and the Incense stick-making village to observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incenses. Then head back to your hotel in Hue.

Day 9Travel From Hue To Hoi An (B)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and free time until our driver come and transfer you to Hoi An by private vehicle. Check-in your hotel in Hoi An and have leisure time to explore the city on your own pace.

Day 10Hoi An Leisure Day (B)

Today you will have free time to explore Hoi An at your own pace, seeing what interests you. This ancient town is full of Japanese merchant houses and pagodas, temples, and antique warehouses. Or just lounge about in a laid-back riverside café on the bank of the Thu Bon River.

Day 11Hoi An Fly To Ho Chi Minh (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy free leisure time until a private cab will transfer you to the airport for the next flight to Ho Chi Minh – called by Sai Gon – The Gem of Indochina. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh and have some leisure time to get your energy back.

Day 12Ho Chi Minh – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B/L/D)

 Start the holiday trip to My Tho- South of Vietnam. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising around four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. 

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking in the village paths to contemplate orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits, and Vietnamese folk music performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Be rowed in a small sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business & bee-keeping farm, and enjoy a honey tea and coconut candy workshop. Have lunch at the local restaurant. Break time.

The afternoon is time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meeting the local people to experience their daily life in the Mekong delta. Relaxing on hammocks to enjoy the cool breeze is for those who do not want to join the cycling trip. Proceed to Can Tho.

Day 13Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel/homestay in the early morning. Take a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River) then visit Cai Rang floating market which is the liveliest one in the whole region. Walking trip to visit the fruit plantation and local noodle factory. Visit Binh Thuy communal house and Munir Ansay Pagoda – a Khmer pagoda, renowned for its unique structure. Have lunch and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Then transfer to the airport for your flight back home. Ending your Vietnam holiday!

Any policies are in place for children?

The rate for children applicable for child sharing a room or cabin with two adults:

  • For infant (<02 years old): FOC except domestic ticket cost.
  • 02 – 11 years old: 85% adult rate.
  • Child from 12 years old and above will pay as adult.

All tickets: Based on each airlines policy, the price for children will be applied at time of booking.

What are the typical steps in the payment process?

Deposit: In order to secure your spot for the tour, an amount 10% of land service are required to pay (the amount vary based each on tour basis). The amount should be made via bank transfer or our online payment method. After receiving the deposit of your tour, a voucher confirmation will be sent to you within 24-48 hours. Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Final payment: The balance of your tour will be made one month before the travel date. Payment by bank transfer or online payment is accepted.

Will be there any alterations of the itinerary?

Alterations to your itinerary before the booking is processed are happily processed free of charge. We want to provide the best tour possible for you.

Alterations, after you have received your booking confirmation letter, will attract a fee of $10 USD per request.

Vietnam Tour Fun reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alteration necessary.

In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged accordingly.

If the tour is to be changed at the request of the client(s), the client will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.

What are the cancellation policies and how can I change mine?

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Vietnam & Indochina; however, we realize that there are many reasons for this event.
In the event of cancellation, we will refund any payment made to Vietnam Tour Fun given that a cancellation fee is applicable.

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

  • 31 days and more before departure: 10% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 14 days and less before departure: 100% of the full payment.
  • No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment.

After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
