Day 1Hanoi Arrival – Vip Fast Track Meet And Greet

Your Vietnam family travel begins in Hanoi, upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, our representative will welcome you by holding a sign with your name and our company logo on it. Our representative will guide you through fast-track security and visa services. After obtaining your visa and your luggage, will lead the way to your awaiting guide and driver. We will transfer you privatively to your luxury accommodations with our professional driver and an English-speaking guide. Stay right in the heart of the city next to the central Hoan Kiem lake, with the fascinating Old Quarter right at your fingertips, you can easily explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2 Ha Noi City Tour – Lunch With Musician (B/L) Guide

Traveling to the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi is the country’s cultural heart, bearing traces of centuries of changing dynasties. Today you will have a chance to see the beauty of both architecture and culture in the capital city.

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and we start the day by meeting musician Pham Chi Khanh, a famous traditional Vietnamese stringed instrument maker, and player, who has been applying his passion for traditional Vietnamese music for nearly 40 years. He became very talented with Vietnamese long zither since 10 years old and now spreading his passion to his daughter, who is an instructor at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Having lunch with his family and enjoying a performance by him and his daughter.

In the afternoon, the tour guide will take you to the key historic attraction of the city such as Hoan Kiem Lake; Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, and the  Hanoi Temple of Literature – a rare example of Vietnamese architecture back to the 11th Century.

Then your guide and private driver will accompany you back to your hotel, or if you prefer to enjoy dinner at your pace in the Old Quarter and soak up the atmosphere, you can make your way back to your hotel at your leisure.

Day 3Travel To Dragon Bay (B/L/D) Private Car, No Guide

09:00 – 09:30: Your air-conditioned transfer vehicle will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi and travel you to Hai Phong Port in North Vietnam.

12:00: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Era Cruise. We will welcome and greet you with a complimentary drink. Our friendly and professional crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedure session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. We encourage you to explore our luxuriously-appointed ship and then watch the magical landscape cruise past.

13:15: A special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk, our lavish interpretation of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Life just doesn’t get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay, passing Da Chong islet where you can see an ancient lighthouse built by the French over a century ago.

15:00: The final part of the cruise takes us through the Cua Van area to Lan Ha Bay (part of Halong Bay). The 300 or so karst islands and limestone outcrops of Lan Ha are stunning with their pristine, snow-white beaches. You can explore Ba Trai Dao beach or the Tra Bau area via kayaks or immerse yourself in crystal clear waters.

17:30 – 18:30: Who doesn’t love happy hour? We offer an extensive drinks list including special offers such as two for one drinks.

18:00: Our Vietnamese cooking demonstration is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and we will guide you through the process.

19:15: You can spoil yourself with a unique Signature Dinner in our distinctive restaurant.

Day 4Wake Up On The Dragon Bay (B/L) Private Car, No Guide

06:30: The morning is the best time of the day on Lan Ha Bay. You might like to head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions or relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee, or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you.

07:00: We will serve a light breakfast of pastries, tea, and coffee in our restaurant.

7:30 – 9:15: The final stage of your trip is to be taken through the mysterious caves and amongst the remote islets via local rowing boats. The breathtaking beauty of this World Heritage region will certainly impress you. Following this, you will journey back to the main ship.

09:30: It’s time to check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early brunch and a last farewell from our crew at 11:30, you will board our transfer boat and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.

12:10-12:30: Now you can board the luxury van and return to Hanoi. Leisure time in Ha Noi.

Day 5Travel From Hanoi To Hoi An - Flight Included, Guide

Have a healthy breakfast, check out the hotel, and travel to Central Vietnam. Meet your guide and transfer to the airport and take a flight to Danang.

From Danang airport, the driver will pick you up and transfer you to Hoi An. Have free time walking and discovering Hoi An town – the lantern town.

Day 6One Day Being A Local Farmer (B/L) Guide

You will enjoy a wide range of experiences – from learning traditional fishing techniques, and experiencing the local cultural folk music of local fishermen to paddling the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war.

On this tour, we provide authentic social and cultural insight into the local Vietnamese way of life. As well you will take part in some hands-on activities that are fun, safe, and interesting to people of all ages.

We kick start Phuoc Hai – Cua Dai Fishing Village. Learn about local daily fishing life when walking throughout the fishing village. Board a boat cruise and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River, Join local fishermen on the river and enjoy the hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing

Then we arrive at the Bay Mau 7 hectares of water coconut forest at Cam Thanh Village. Hearing about the past war story before exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war and hearing of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides. Enjoy the Thung Chai basket boat demonstration by our crews.

Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats and join in basket boat racing for fun and learn how to make origami creations from reeds of palm leaves such as grasshoppers, birds, rings, sunglass, bracelets, etc.

Back on board, enjoy lunch and a cold beer or soft drink before returning to your hotel. Back to the hotel.

Day 9Discover The Vibrant City By Jeep Tour (B) Guide

Jeep pick you up at the hotel and begin the city tour.

The first stop on your tour Jeep will take you to go to visit the Independence Palace/ the Reunification Palace. The palace is symbolic of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, when the North Vietnamese Army tank number 843 crashed through the gates of what was at the time the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.

Next, you will admire the Museum of American War Crimes/ the War Remnants Museum is the most popular museum in Ho Chi Minh City. It gathers a collection of machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam’s wars.

After the Museum, you will see Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office are the two of the best highlights of old Saigon architecture and are located next to each other and right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.

Next, we will stop at a factory of Vietnamese handicrafts that gives opportunities to handicapped people to be productive and earn for their families. The area further showcased just how artistic and creative Vietnamese are. We observed just how materials like egg shells, sea shells, and sands were intricately made into exquisite living room display pieces.

And then, Jeep will take you to visit some famous roads in Saigon such as Dong Khoi street, and Nguyen Hue street. Jeep go ahead to visit Ben Thanh Market, a lively market in District 1, where your guide can help you barter for goods. And then, Jeep goes to Bui Vien street and goes back to your hotel.

Day 10Extend With Cambodia – Fly To Siem Reap – Flight Included, Guide

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Cambodia, and finish your last day in Vietnam. Our guide will take you to the airport to take a flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Arrive in Siem Reap, meet the tour guide, and transfer to the hotel for check-in, free in your leisure time.

Day 11Siem Reap – Angkor Tour (B) Guide

Breakfast at the hotel: Start your sightseeing tour of the Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares.

We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.

Day 12Tonle Sap Lake - Siem Reap Departure (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of the time visiting the “Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor” which provides training to young Cambodians to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. and transfer to the airport for flight departure.

Any policies are in place for children?

The rate for children applicable for child sharing a room or cabin with two adults:

  • For infant (<02 years old): FOC except domestic ticket cost.
  • 02 – 11 years old: 85% adult rate.
  • Child from 12 years old and above will pay as adult.

All tickets: Based on each airlines policy, the price for children will be applied at time of booking.

What are the typical steps in the payment process?

Deposit: In order to secure your spot for the tour, an amount 10% of land service are required to pay (the amount vary based each on tour basis). The amount should be made via bank transfer or our online payment method. After receiving the deposit of your tour, a voucher confirmation will be sent to you within 24-48 hours. Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Final payment: The balance of your tour will be made one month before the travel date. Payment by bank transfer or online payment is accepted.

Vietnam Tour Fun reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alteration necessary.

In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged accordingly.

If the tour is to be changed at the request of the client(s), the client will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.

What are the cancellation policies and how can I change mine?

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Vietnam & Indochina; however, we realize that there are many reasons for this event.
In the event of cancellation, we will refund any payment made to Vietnam Tour Fun given that a cancellation fee is applicable.

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

  • 31 days and more before departure: 10% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 14 days and less before departure: 100% of the full payment.
  • No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment.

After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
