Vietnam will surprise you with its rich traditional culture, a host of world heritage sites, stunning inland scenery, and world-renowned cuisine. Start your tour in Hanoi – Vietnam’s colonially influenced atmospheric capital, escape from the hustle and bustle of big cities in Ba Vi countryside, then be ready to be amazed by the most famous bay in Vietnam with the “dragon” in its name. Head to the South and discover the amazing network of Cu Chi tunnels which was used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War then explore the life of locals alongside the mighty Mekong River. Feel the essence of the calming ocean in Phu Quoc which is raw beauty, immerse yourself with white sand and emerald water sea, stay close to nature, and sunbathe on the beach.
Upon arrival, our driver will be holding a sign with your name and welcome you at Noi Bai International airport transfer to Hanoi Old Quarter and drop you off at the hotel to check-in. For the rest of the day, you can stroll around the Old Town to get used to the City or just relax to recover from the jet lag.
Overnight in Hanoi.
08:00: – Start your trip to Ri village in Ba Vi. After 1.5 hours of driving, you will arrive at Mr. Duoc’s house with a welcome drink.
10:00: – Then visit the 30-year-old tea plantation in Ri Village. This is a green and peaceful place where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the village. This Tea Plantation plays important role in providing tea products for the whole north of Vietnam. You will have a chance to help a local family to harvest tea leaves, you will know how to pick the best part of the tea tree to make the most wonderful beverage as Vietnam’s traditional tea.
Mr. Duoc is a veteran of the Vietnam War and the owner of a large tea farm. He also is an expert in handling raw tea leaves, he will introduce you to how to make a good green tea before selling it.
You will have a great time listening to the host’s stories of his life in the Vietnam war, besides, enjoying great tea with green lentils or lotus seeds made by his family.
11:15: – Driving about 10 minutes to visit another host family in Moc Village to give you a cooking class by Mrs. Chin – a host family. She will show you how to cook Vietnamese food, and you will have a great time enjoying the lunch you cooked.
12:30: Have lunch with the host’s family and a short break after lunch. Then you will head back to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight in Hanoi.
In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, the Cruise team will pick you up. Take the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival to Halong, you will enjoy a cruise on the Bay and explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which there will be a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long Bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can optionally attend the activities taking part on the boat or just relax.
Overnight on cruise.
Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi.
Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport for the flight to HCMC, Arrival, our guide and shuttle bus will hold a sign with your name and welcome you. Transfer directly to the hotel in HCMC. After check-in, free for leisure and shopping in the local markets.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Have breakfast and check out from the hotel. Depart for Cu Chi tunnel at 8:00 – 8:30 am, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours of bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have a short introduction followed by a video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which includes the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, native Cu Chi tapioca will be served.
Break time for relaxation or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.
13:00 – 13:30 Drop off at your hotels.
The Mekong Delta (from Vietnamese “Nine Dragon river delta”) is the region in South-western Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and falls into the sea through a network of distributaries.
07.30 – 08.00 am: Pick you up at your hotel. Then have an unforgettable drive along the provincial roads, down to the Southern region of Vietnam, through paddy rice fields, pineapple plantations, orchards, and small hamlets (a 2-hour drive).
After arriving at My Tho, you will take a local motor boat and have a sightseeing tour of the Dragon, Phoenix, and Turtle Islands and stop at the famous Unicorn Island. At Unicorn Island, you will visit a honey bee farm, and taste some honey wine, rice wine, and banana wine. Then have a walk around the village and row the boat along the natural water coconut canals to see local daily life in Mekong Delta.
From there, you will continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Then transfer to a small motor boat and travel along the lush, green canals, and stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
After that, we are going to another area on Unicorn Island to enjoy some kinds of tropical fruits in the orchard garden and listen to Southern traditional music.
A local boat will take you back to My Tho, then the bus will drive you back to Sai Gon.
16:00 – 16:30: Drop off at your hotels.
Have a healthy breakfast then transfer to the airport to take a flight to Phu Quoc Island –the most wonderful island in Vietnam.
Have leisure time today.
Accommodate at the hotel.
Meet at the pickup point and enjoy the shuttle ride to An Thoi harbor where you will board our boat and head out to MONG TAY ISLAND or GAM GHI ISLAND for snorkeling and swimming. Indulge in a delicious lunch on board and then head to MAY RUT ISLAND for more snorkeling in crystal clear water. Relax and take in the spectacular hilly scenery on the return journey.
