The fifteen-day Indochina tour is designed to help people sort out the panorama view of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. Visiting historical sites, picturing the stunning scene of landscape, and exploring local people’s lives to acquire knowledge about culture.
The first awaiting destination in the Indochina tour will be the peaceful S-shaped country of Vietnam. In other words, your Indochina tour begins with your arrival in Vietnam. Your private driver will meet and greet you at the airport. You will go to the hotel by private transportation. Check in to the hotel and get over the jet lag.
After enjoying the first day yourself and return to the hotel for a relaxing sleep.
Have breakfast at the hotel then an experienced English-speaking guide will take you to the countryside located on the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.
Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, he will welcome you with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds that made by his family. During the visit, imagine Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert. Along the way, you will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village, and join with locals in green tea processing. Now, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.
After that, you will wander around the village and mingle with local people. Later, you will visit the local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads. Together with the trip, observe traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields.
Along the way, watch out for a water buffalo plowing a paddy field while ducks swim across the top. Next, stop at another host family for foot bathing following the recipes of the Muong ethnic group, and relaxing time before embarking on your private boat for a trip along the Da river. Later, enjoy a transfer from Ba Vi to your accommodation in Hanoi.
In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, the Cruise team will pick you up. Joining the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay – one of the world heritage sites that you have a chance to visit in your Indochina tour, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival to Halong, you will enjoy a cruise on the Bay and explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you finish with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch before a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long Bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can optionally attend the activities taking part on the boat otherwise just relax.
Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. After that, the boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and transfers to your hotel in Hanoi.

Your Indochina tour continues with Laos on an exciting excursion to explore the hidden gem of Asia. On arrival at the airport, our driver will transfer you to your hotel. Due to time permitting; your half-day city tour enables us to see the major temples of Vientiane including the oldest, Wat Sisaket, a temple of thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. We also visit the Lao national icon, Luang Stupa before stopping to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientians’ own Arc de Triumph.

As soon as we leave the capital early for our journey northbound; we will see some breathtaking scenery en route as we pass through spectacular countryside towards the mountainous region. Along the way, we visit the busy and colorful market of Thalat where various hill tribes come to trade goods and buy provisions. The next stop of our trip is Vang Xang, famous for its archeological site dating back to the 11th century. Next, we reach our final destination Vang Vieng, which is nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River.

As part of our half-day tour of Vang Vieng, we explore the famous caves of Tham Jang, which the local people used as a hideout from Chinese invaders. We also cross the river to Ban Huai Ngai, a very pleasant village where we can explore the different lifestyles of the locals.
Following lunch, we head north up route 13 to Luang Prabang. The stunning mountain scenery makes for an interesting journey. After a couple of photo stops, we arrive in Luang Prabang early evening.

First, we visit the morning Phousi Market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea, and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables, and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also famous for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouray, a Hmong village, Ban Ou a Laoloum village, and Ban Thapene, a Khmu village. This then takes us to the beautiful Khuang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. We then return to Luang Prabang.

Have breakfast at the hotel and a relaxing time before the pick-up for the flight to Siem Reap where you can take time to find out more about the history of Cambodia to save the best experience in your Indochina tour.

After breakfast, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the best-preserved holy Buddhist gateway to Angkor Thom, which was built in the 12th century. Here you will visit Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant, and Leper King Terrace. Then continue to Ta Prohm, a temple in the jungles covered by trees growing out of the ruins. This temple is the place where the most impressive scenes of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider were filmed.
After lunch, you will visit Hindu temples Thommanon, Chaosay Tevoda, and Ta Keo: the small, attractive temples in very good condition, which were built all the same time as Angkor Wat. Then continue to Angkor Wat – one of the “7th Wonders of the World” and a World Heritage Site since 1992. Famous for its beauty and splendor Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. After visiting Angkor Wat you will get to the top of Bakheng Hill for sunset viewing. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area, this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat.

Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your transfer to Phnom Penh by air-conditioned bus. In the afternoon you will visit the Royal Palace, which is currently a residence of His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal family. The palace looks like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, which serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as a 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally visit Wat Phnom Temple, one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh It was built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh.

Breakfast at the hotel, then visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school functions as a prison for Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were executed in the extermination camp at Choeng Ek. Then visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), this Market has gained a reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic musical instrument. Finally, you will go to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, rest of the day is at your leisure.

Kickstart your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows, an experienced English-speaking guide and professional driver will take you to My Tho, the town that lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and folk song music performed by the local people, and visit the fruit plantation. Then you will take a hand-rowed sampan through the Thoi Son canal and immerse yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family workshops and honey-bee farm, and try some honey tea and coconut candies specialties.
Refuel yourself with a Vietnamese traditional meal and later pedal around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong Delta. If you are not keen on cycling, trip, let’s enjoy a cool breeze and relaxing time in a hammock. Afterward, you will go back to your accommodation.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
An experienced English-speaking guide to Cu Chi Tunnels in the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes. The residents of Cu Chi took the war underground into a highly developed network of tunnels that at its height stretched as far as Cambodia. It includes meeting rooms, kitchens, and triage areas. As it’s imperceptible from the ground, opposing armies could roll their tanks over the bunkers without causing damage to the tunnels below.
Indeed, living conditions were harsh – in addition to fighting the war, resident’s battled food and oxygen scarcity, venomous insects, and cramped living quarters. Gain important insight into the prolonged struggle against invading armies, and appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people. After that, travelers can try the delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla warriors in Cu Chi during the war. Besides, visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or MK16, or machine gun at the nearby shooting range.
Then enjoy a transfer back to your accommodation.
Lastly, relish a healthy breakfast on the final day of your trip. Have a relaxing time before transferring to Tan Son Nhat International Airport by a professional driver. Then fly back to your homeland and end your Indochina tour through three gems of Asia.
