While Hue is one of the must-see destinations of travel in Vietnam, Vietnam’s most historically significant city, Hoi An is one of the most appealing places in the country. Sample the town’s famous cuisine and find your favorite spot for Vietnamese coffee or have your clothes tailored within 24 hours at the colorful shops and markets. Finish off your travel to Vietnam at a southern paradise – Phu Quoc Island. Despite being a popular tourist spot, this island remains relatively undeveloped and is perfect for a few blissful days of relaxation away from the crowds.
Your travel to Vietnam begins with your arrival in Vietnam. Your tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport. You will be escorted to the hotel by private transportation. Check in to the hotel and get over the jet lag.

08:00 – Start your travel to the North of Vietnam with Ba Vi Eco-Tours and visit Ri village in Ba Vi. After 1.5 hours driving, you will arrive at Mr. Duoc’s house, where you will enjoy a welcome drink.
This is a green and peaceful place, where you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the village. This Tea Plantation plays an important role in providing tea products for the whole north of Vietnam. You will have a chance to help a local family harvest tea leaves, and you be shown how to pick the best part of the tea tree to make the most wonderful beverage as Vietnam’s traditional tea.
Mr. Duoc is a veteran of the Vietnam War and is the owner of a large tea farm. He is also an expert on handling raw tea leaves and he will show you the process required to provide an exceptional tea product. You will have a great time listening to Mr. Duoc’s stories about his life, and his experiences during the war. Then, you will enjoy some great tea along with green lentils or lotus seeds, also grown by his family.
11:15 – Driving about 10 minutes to visit another host family in Moc Village where you will enjoy a fun cooking class by Mrs. Chin. She will show you how to cook Vietnamese food, and you will have some time to enjoy lunch with the food you helped cook!
13:45 – After lunch, you have time to walk (or bicycle) around the village to explore the local culture and visit the local workshops. You can learn how to make tofu, make the traditional conical hat in Vietnam, unshell rice, and maybe see the workshop of a local worker who, for 70 years has made and fixed all the farming tools in the village.
15:00 – You have to enjoy a 1-hour cycling tour through the beautiful rice fields and the villages. You can witness the daily life of local people and interact with them. Mr Chau is your next host, who will welcome you with fresh mint lemon juice, with all ingredients freshly picked from your garden. After, you can enjoy a traditional foot soak in warm water with herbs, following the traditional recipes of the Muong ethnic minority. This will relay you (and your feet!) after cycling around the village.
Your afternoon will end with a boat trip down the Da River on which you can enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and explore the local life along the riverside.
Time to bid farewell to your host family and get back to Ha Noi.

Fabulous lunch is served while Serenity Cruises starts her sails into magnificent Lan Ha Bay – an extension of Ha Long Wonder which is much quieter and less touristy. She will pass the famous Finger Islet, Frog Islet, and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

Option 1: Serenity Cruises reaches Dau Be Island, one of the most beautiful islands located in the South East of Halong bay. It is time to discover Halong bay yourselves with your travel buddy by sharing a kayak. Go explore the beauty of nature in the hidden lagoon with lots of stalactites hanging down from the cave ceiling. This activity might depend on the tide level of the bay. In case the tide level is too high or too low, we will do kayaking in Dark Cave, and Bright Cave areas. There is a stop for those who wish to swim and go snorkeling in the lush green water.
Option 2: On the days of too high a tide (usually seasonal), Serenity Cruises will take you to visit the giant fish and the floating village. We will do kayaking in the water body that embraces one of the most beautiful floating villages of the bay. While kayaking, you will have opportunities to learn more about another typical value of the region: the daily life of local fishermen. You will also have a brief look at the geology of the karst mountains that beautify the surroundings.

Back to Serenity Cruises and relax on the cruise. Enjoy our Happy Hour Deal in all bars on a cruise. On board, you may join a traditional cooking class presented by our crew. Before dinner, our experienced captain will choose the most tranquil area to anchor for overnight.

Our crew will take you to Viet Hai, a small village located amid jungles, covered by the high mountain range of Cat Ba National Park. Spending around 30 minutes biking along, you will feel the peaceful atmosphere and charming scenery of a typical village in the North of Vietnam.
9:15 Return to Serenity Cruises
You will have some time for fresh relaxation on the cruise then spend a few minutes to settle your bill and check out from 9.15-10.00 am.
During the time well-prepared lunch is served, Serenity Cruises slowly navigates emerald water and thousands of karst mountains towards the Harbor.
