You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.
After that, you will wander around the village and mingle with local people. You will visit the local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads.
Explore Vietnam by observing traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields. Depart the hotel this morning at 08:30 for a 2.5-hour drive through rural northern Vietnam to Ninh Binh province, one of the most beautiful parts of Vietnam with its dramatic scenery and historical temples. The rice fields here are beautiful and the mountains have earned the area the nickname ‘dry Halong Bay, a moniker borne out by the limestone karsts which dominate the landscape.
Upon arrival, begin a leisurely 5-15 km biking trip around Tho Ha village (length is dependent on the individual) passing by peaceful villages and enjoying the rustic countryside landscapes. Continue to Dong Tam Hamlet to join in some engaging agricultural activities such as catching crabs, fishing and transplanting and watering vegetables, etc.
Enjoy lunch before boarding a sampan for a 1.5-hour boat trip to float over a small canal among the paddy fields for 1km, then strolling along the curling rocky path of the foot for 200m and going up 20 steps to reach the Galaxy cave gate. Get inside the cave and admire the spectacular stalactites above the cave ceiling. Continue discovering Thien Thanh and But Hien cave and be attracted by the many natural sparkling stalactites with shapes and figures inspiring curiosity before returning on the same route.

Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Today you will make your way to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. We leave the greeny rice fields of Ninh Binh behind, bound for the serenity of Halong Bay where we’ll board a traditional-style Vietnamese Junk boat. Get acquainted with the facilities on board as we set sail and cruise into the bay. Savor your first hours in Halong Bay on the sun deck and simply let your eyes wander over the breathtaking scenery.
We arrive at Cua Van, one of the last remaining floating fishing villages in Halong Bay which some families and fishermen still use as a base for their fishing and aqua-cultural activities. With a small bamboo boat rowed by locals, we have a look at the floating structures in this calm and secluded area to gain some insight into village life.
If you prefer to be more active, rent a kayak (extra fee) and paddle around by yourself. This is the perfect way to freely move about and explore this part of the bay. The fishing village also hosts the Cua Van Cultural Center, operated by residents to preserve and introduce visitors to the village’s history and culture. On display are many archaeological artifacts and photographs depicting life in Cua Van. By tender, we transfer to the nearby Tien Ong cave.
The cave shows evidence of human civilization dating back to 10,000 – 8,000 BC. Fossil evidence also proves that the cave was part of the mainland continent ages ago before Halong Bay became the marine wonder it is today. Tien Ong cave reaches a depth of 50 meters and covers a total area of roughly 1,000 square meters. Follow our guide as we loop through and learn interesting details about this cavern. After returning to the boat, we sail to the overnight mooring area.
During this time – the magical “blue hour” – Halong Bay reveals its true, magnificent beauty. Unwind on the sun deck with your favorite drink and be fully present in this moment. As we sail along, our chef demonstrates the preparation of popular Vietnamese dishes. You are welcome to join and practice along; remember these easy, but very tasty classic Vietnamese recipes and take them back home with you.
After a bit of downtime, dinner is served. If you are still eager to learn more about Halong Bay, our onboard guide offers an enlightening presentation about the bay’s unique and intriguing insights after dinner. Alternatively, give yourself a try at squid fishing together with our staff – always an entertaining experience. While away the rest of the evening and treasure this special moment amidst the magical landscapes before falling into a restful slumber in the middle of Halong Bay were, once upon a time, sparkling jewels cascaded from heavenly dragons.

Rise early today to view the dawn at the Wonder of the Nature World with complimentary tea and coffee being served in the dining room. A Tai Chi class is offered on the sun deck to awaken your mind and muscles.
In the morning, we set sail to the small Ti Top Island. Formerly named Cat Nang, the island received a name change after former president Ho Chi Minh and the second man to orbit the Earth, Russian astronaut German Titov, toured Halong Bay together in 1962. Since the cosmonaut was so fascinated with this picturesque islet, Uncle Ho would rename the spectacle Ti Top Island to honor Titov and as a gesture of friendship between their two countries. Once arriving at Ti Top, you can go for a refreshing morning swim on a sandy beach beneath towering rock formations.
If you prefer to be a bit more active, climb 400 stone steps (which takes about 20 minutes) to the island’s top and be rewarded with stunning, panoramic views over the bay. There is also a viewing platform about halfway up with great vistas framed by lush greenery – perfect for photos. Back on board, you can take a shower and freshen up.
Now is the time to enjoy the final moments of sailing as we head back to the harbor while a light brunch is served. Until we reach the pier, relax on the sun deck or in the dining room while savoring the last views of this iconic site. Back to the harbor and transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Hue. Board a flight to Hue and upon arrival, your English-speaking guide will escort you to your hotel in the city’s center.

08:00 Start your tour of Hue with a visit to the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument take a cyclo ride through the ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax, full of lotus flowers in Summer, there are many local-style coffee shops around the lake where university students come to study. Drive onto Thien Mu Pagoda, constructed in 1601, the 21-meter tall tower is the centerpiece of the pagoda.
This afternoon, depart for the Mausoleum of Tu Duc, built decades before its occupant’s death, the tomb was used as a palace retreat before becoming the Emperor’s resting place.
Continue to Khai Dinh’s Tomb which is traditional Vietnamese in design with a European touch making it unique from the other tombs in Hue. If you wish, before visiting the tombs pass the city’s vibrant Dong Ba Market where a huge array of fresh produce is on offer.

Today you will depart from Hue leaving the brilliance of the Imperial City behind you. As you make your way over the Hai Van pass you can’t help but notice the beauty of the landscape; the rolling mountains sweep down to the coastline blending the turquoise hills into the sapphire water. At times it looks like you ascend above the clouds and you notice the mountain peaks in the distance standing over the mist before it dissipates. After a relaxing visit to Lang Co Beach, you will find the charm of Hoi An comforting in the afternoon.

Have breakfast at the hotel and relaxing time before boarding a flight from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City. The approximate flight time is one hour and 30 minutes. Our professional driver and an English-speaking guide will privately transfer you to Ho Chi Minh Airport.
Check into the hotel and have leisure time before the most fascinating street food tour that you’ve joined. Driving on a vintage Vespa and participating in Vietnamese chaotic traffic. Your tour guide will then take you to a local bar to have a welcome drink and enjoy the panorama view of Ho Chi Minh City. Our first stop for dinner is a local restaurant where we would like to introduce to you our local specialties like Vietnamese Pancake, and spring rolls.

This morning, set out to discover the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels in luxury.
