Your trip begins with your arrival in Vietnam. Your private driver will meet and greet you at the airport. You will be escorted to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and have a rest after the flight. The remaining part of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel then you will be escorted by an experienced English-speaking guide, to the countryside located on the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes. Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds made by his family. Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through the stories of Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert. You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in green tea processing. After that, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.
Relish and have some rest and your host will take you around her village and you will visit the local workshops. Our local owner will teach us how to make tofu, unshell the rice, and will see the workshop of a local hammerer who is working there for 70 years. Cycling through the rice fields then you will arrive at the house of your next host Mr. Chau, and have your feet soaking in warm water with herb leaves following the recipes of Muong ethnic minorities. Continue the boat trip along the Da river and view the stunning scenery and discover the life of local people alongside the river.

Take a 30- minute drive to Mai Ha village. We start walking to Kha village and sightseeing around Kha lake – the heart of Mai Chau. This lake is the irrigation system that reserves the water source for Van Mai valley, providing life to the people living around it. On our way, we will see many White Thai villages. Local people leave their houses to do daily work in the forest or the rice field. During our walk, we will take some short breaks to drink tea and chat with them.
Continuing to Te Village, a small authentic village located in the jungle. Top off the journey by dropping by a Thai family to understand more about the culture of Thai minority people. Picnic lunch will be served on the way or in a local house.

After that, our driver will pick you up at your accommodation and transfer you to Hanoi.

In the morning, check out from the hotel and get pick-up by the Cruise. Take a route most scenic to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Halong, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
Once you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long Bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.
Overnight on cruise.
Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and the return to Hanoi around 17:00. Drop at the hotel in Hanoi and finish the Vietnam itinerary in Halong Bay. Free in your leisure time.

Breakfast at the hotel before the car and tour guide transfer you to the airport to take the flight to Phu Quoc. Looking at the Vietnam itinerary, Phu Quoc is one of the top beaches in Vietnam: Fringed with white-sand beaches and with large tracts still cloaked in a dense tropical jungle, it rapidly morphed from a sleepy island backwater to a must-visit beach escape for Western ex-pats and sun-seeking tourists.
